I only caught 1 coyote back in Nov. and a couple small grinners as this is my first back at trapping in years. But there is still cable time coming yet and I will put them out in Jan. I think my traps weren't cleaned good enough and now there is to much snow up here to fight.

I get out of classes on Saturday, so I'll be putting out my line then! I am really excited to get out this year. My brother and I are really into it. Every spare buck we have we run to the trapper supply and get new traps. Can't wait to see what the season holds. I have scouted a few areas and are looking promising. Hope every one's season goes well and I hope good weather gets here soon.

We have friends that have a camp in linesville. Washington is about a hour south of us.What all do you trap? We can't catch a squirrel for nothing. Our camp has one living in the rafters, used to have flying squirrels that would land on your head.Alot of coyote hunters around us.

I got to school at Cal U so washington isnt that far away. i also did a little fishin in the Mon while i was there. i live right around the lake here. spent sometime in linesville, mostly for sports when we played them. squirrels have a thing for spearment gum. that what my grandpa uses in his box traps. catches chippys, squirrels, and mice.

Thanks gonna try the spearmint gum have tried just about everything. Our camps in kennerdell on the allegheny river, it sat empty for a while and was literally overtaken by squirrels. We got rid of the flying squirrels but not the gray squirrels yet and we have three mt cur squirrel dogs. They have been catching the chipmunks but not the squirrels yet.The area you go to school is real nice.
