Do you ever wonder where all the expensive meat
And cheeses at large grocery chains go when they are out of date?
You know what items im talking about, the $60 roasts
And $9 slivers of quality cheese.
I know first hand that the manager ends up with
Most of it, which he sells or
Gives away.
Me being an obnoxious trouble making itchiba i delight
When i see the meat section full of people trying
To find something they can afford, and in voice everyone
can here i ask,
HEY WHAT HAPPENS WITH ALL THIS MEAT PEOPLE CANT
AFFORD TO BUY?! Then report my experience of seeing boxes and boxes of high
Priced meat and deli items sold privately or given away by the manager to his friends and family. (Albertsons in fla)
Usually the meat man usually lowers his head, mumbles and gets out of the area
Asap.
Speaking of disgusting super market occuraces..... I, with a few things
In my cart in front of a woman with three full carts... asked her how many
Anchor babies it takes to get that much food.
Just hard to keep my moth shut anymore. I need to go north. :)
Harken back to my frying pans/ wallmart ammo dept adventure. Lol
Gurrrrrr. Lol.

Worked on a remodel, of a grocery store, a number of years ago. Had occasion to work in the walk in coolers. Saw a pallet of meat that was at or after the expiration date that they ground for hamburger. Decided I wasn't going to buy any of their burger. They are no longer in business.

I cant complain about your meat prices. In fact I was jealous how you all got so much good meat cheap compared to our prices. 3 rib steaks and big ones for 17.00 in texas was mind boggling. I would pay 20.00 for one good rib steak up here. But when they come on sale i stock up. I would hate to see what you had to say about our prices up here if you lived here. :x
