went into a store to get my fishing license and the owner asks me if I had a adc license to get rid of some beaver on his property.no I told him but the season has 4 days left. got 2 sets out today, hope for pictures tomorrow!!

the location. lodge is in the upper right side of the picture. this pond is 110ft deep!! 2 sets (castor mounds) to the right of the cabin.

no beav today! water rose over a foot from the rain.the owner said he stocked 85 15" trout last year in there,hasen't seen them since!!

well,season's out now.found out that someone may have shot the beaver there. no new sign in 3 days.pulled out today.but I got permission for next year for all trapping there! seen tracks of grey fox,coyote and coon.found a otter toilet downstream ( Allegany river is real close!)

Good job on the permission. I'd maybe scout that pond out during the summer, you know for depth and such with say, a decent jig. :roll:
