Great old show. I miss Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom too. I believe it was Marlin Perkins who narrated it.

I loved that how but ABC reception was iffy. Watched a few though thru the static and snow flakes. He has a series out on DVD also that sportsmans guide carried 10 or so years back. It was well dated but interesting. Ive got the red trimmed paperback too still somewhere.

Little before my time REM. We only got a couple channels anyhow. I do remember watching a few Homer Circles.

sports thing doesn't ring a bell, but Marlin Perkins always did the talking while Jim wrestled the criters; almost as realistic as elly may and the beverly billies

Besides Jim, wasn't there a fellow named Stan? Seems I remember Marlin narrating an episode with an anaconda and it got the best of Stan.

I rember that one. Marlin said something like( im safely on shore while jim wressles with the andaconda) that was a classic!
