Best of luck with the sale of your furs. I know they are well put up and "should" bring top prices.

Sale starts 2.30 am Eastern time in Helsinki Finland tonight. When I get up in the morning before I go trout fishing I will check and see how things went.

Accident on highway, road closed. Back home watching the fur auction. There into coons right now. MN/WIS coons did very good for higher prices and larger sizes. Iowa coon are doing very bad. 5x-4x coons not even $30.00. Lots of coon for 8 to 15 bucks. Smaller coon they can't even sell for 4 bucks. Keep you posted when they get to other regions of the US.

There was no more interest in any of the other coon from other regions. They could not even sell coons for 1 buck. The auctioneer asked the buyers if he should carry on with coons from different zones, they said no as there was no interest in coon. One has to wonder if the market is flooded with coon. Badger did not have much interest and very few sold. Skunk top price was $15.50 then down to $6.00. So what I seen the winners for coon were MN/WIS with the highest prices over $50.00 and a fair amount being sold. Next was the Canadian coon with a high of $30.00 and a fair amount being sold. After that it was all down hill. I hope that Nafa has a better sale for all your coon. Might even be a hard sell for them.

My furs sold and I'm not crying but I'm not jumping up and down either. It is what it is. Maybe next time

Thanks for the info. I'm glad your stuff moved even at reduced prices. Better than zero I imagine. We all knew coon was going to be tough this season going in.

Does anyone know how FHA's "MN/WI" and "Iowa" coon crosswalks to NAFA's regions??

I'm sure if I go over onto the Tman site, there will be 10-15 pages of comments on the FHA sale, most of it woe and scorn...

Thanks for posting the link Wolf. I was trying to set it up before i logged in. Nephew sent fur to FHA. I had no idea, he needs $ with baby no.2 otw so i told him he could do what he wanted with his/our catch and the stuff his dad and i gave him. He texted me a little while ago excited about what little castor he sent brought? I guess i didnt realize they did castor at the auctions? Mink looked dismal. From the looks of things and if NAFA etc has the same results we're going back after K9's next year. A few of the yotes Zach sent he said cracked $15. Kids smarter then his dad and i. He wants to finish our beavers out now. I quit S&Ding them for $2.
