Nice!! I'd like to get into white-fronts like your boys seem to do. I don't think I've ever droped one of those or a Ross' goose either (but they're not as cool as a tiger-stripe). Enjoy while you can!!

PC, the whitefronts[speckle bellies] are in my opinion the best of the geese we have to eat. I've been chasing them for over 40 years[along with everything else]. I won't shoot a Ross goose[personal choice] as I have had way tooooooooo many of them come to the blind for safety. I was once out with a couple of Americans and a couple other canucks when a Ross came in and landed by the blind. I suggested if anyone wanted to kill it that they best make peace with their maker first cause they would follow said bird to where ever they were going, the bird stayed with us through the whole hunt and actually acted like it wanted to help pack up. I'm fortunate to live where hunting is good even if it is short lived some years.
