Prices seem to be very region specific. I know a lot of guys east of here that get $80 for a skunk. Best I can do is $35. Of course the average income here is lower than in a lot of areas.

I would call around to see what the closest competition is charging.

Mileage is a big thing, and a setup fee. They may not tell you that the neighbor has trapped all but three of the beaver and has smacked two of them on the nose with a #330. Now you are
putting resources into catching an educated animal.

Now that being said. If you are going to charge for a service, you may want to look into liability insurance. It only takes one accident or somebody messing with something you told them to leave alone........

I pay around $800 a year for $300k in liability. That being said I pay a little extra because I am licensed to use pesticides. A benefit though is that when people see or hear the word "insured" it will help you get the job. Especially with cities or businesses. It takes your image from Ol' Elmer with his scattergun, to a concerned professional.

Yup, Welcome to Montana. Now go home.
There are two types of people in this world. Those who shape it, and those who are shaped by it.
