I don't know how many have been keeping up with it or not but lottings/gradings should be up by Saturday night into Sunday according to NAFA. Might as well get a thread started that people can post their stuff, gradings, averages, questions etc on. Good luck to all, hope it goes well for you.

I have my expectations set low so hopefully I'll get surprised.

I just hope I make enough to buy a few dozen traps and I will be satisfied I guess.

Better count on Dukes, who knows for sure what the auction will bring :P  I can't say for certain but I would think you could figure about $25 a yote and $15 a coon for a base figure. At least that is what we figure off of. We beat both of those this last auction by quite a bit, at least for what sold. A lot has happened since then though, mainly with the Russian-Ukrainian stuff going on. Personally I look to see a slight drop in prices but not a whole lot from the last auction.

The only coon of mine showing so far is a little guy left over from the Feb. sale. But my badger is up. Considering its my first digger sent to auction, I think I'm pleased. Its in the 13th lot from the top of the list, the first XL-2XL that were graded I-II. Its P for color so I think it will do ok. We'll see...

Sounds good, p normally means pale, that's what you want for badgers. As far as the coons, only hold over goods have been put up so far, anything that was sent in for this sale has yet to have the grades posted to my understanding.

No coons up yet. Even with my "code sheet" I still find codes I can't figure out...such as VRD and NC

Vrd-very red (mostly with cats overall back color)

Nc- north central in most cases. With yotes though it means eastern...figure that one out lol.

Is the fur I sent in April not for this auction? I don't even see that they received it yet.

Happy id be doing some serious checking with NAFA . They should have shown the receipt of your pelts within 2 weeks of sending them. Call them ASAP and have your shipping paper work in hand.

Happy, that fur will be for the September sale. The last receiving day for this sale was March 24 and May 5 is the last receiving day for the September auction.

The coon that I had bought back in February is listed in the lotting letter but the coon I shipped up there is not listed yet. I also had 1 muskrat listed as an XL winter and 1 listed as an XXXL spring, both were caught on the same day in late December..... :?

If memory serves me right, seems like a southern friend of ours chose the smallest coon there and left a northern friend with one of the bigger ones  :P I'm not sure the smaller coon even had gristle to take off. Seems like it was all fat. :--D

my coon needed vent holes to help in the drying process. Just had to get you fired up . After 2 years of you skinning my fur from weasel to wolf I have no complaints on your ability. :--) NC stands for North Carolina :?
