Our local gunshop called, my 7.5x55 i ordered came in. 60rds at $40 per box. $34 last time i ordered(november). He said all ammo across the board is up 5%-20%. Russian commercial or surplus fodder is up 20% from wholesalers. Some cant be found for any price? Anyone else heard of or running into this?

I'm afraid ammo is like gas, the prices will just keep going up.

TR what did a brick of CCI's cost before?? 10 years ago an exe cousin squirrel hinted with those and i think i paid near $7/100 for CCI's? Good .22 though. I dont need any .22LR reallly. I got a lifetime supply im sure with careful/frugal use but, its just the idea of it all. Somethings fishy in the beans. I'll probably stand in line for my 100 if they have one of my brands.

A couple ways to look at that Rick. At least you found a brick for sale. I've seen them selling for upper $60's. I bought 2 bricks late last fall for $32. There's three ways :( I normally shoot Wolf's and there is no way I'm spending that much now for a can of corn.

Just left Wally's, went by sporting goods and the .22's were in. Remington Thunderbolts, $2.67/50. Bought'em all. Young kid i guess didnt know what they had planned. 2000rds equals 4 bricks @$26.70 brick. Rest was too high for me. CCI'S mini mags(standards) were $13.67/100 so TR i think you did real good. They only got 3 100rd packs of'em in so you were lucky to find that many most likely. Incidentally i bought.17's last fall for $6.99ish/50pack. Cant find'em now but i can shoot most smaller .22 center fires cheaper anyhow.

Back, I have that same caliber (6.5 x 55) in my deer rifle. Nice flat trajectory....the Swede!

New Sportsman's Warehouse opened here last week. Brick of Remington 22lr was $24 for the first five hundred customers. They gave $20 gift cards to the first 300 in the door. I was #225, so that helped ease the pain.

Yep TA, K-31, why more countries didnt use it when bolt actions were standard I'll never know. Bolt takes a little getting used to but its 10 times the rifle of any surplus bolt actions except quality Mausers. And i think its superior to them. Soft points are tough to find here. Had a guy make me up 100rds with Hornady tops. If i ever go rifle deer/big game hunting its going too. With FMJ its a yote nightmare. Shoots WAY better then i can. Got quick detach mounts with a fixed 6x. I cant hardly use iron or peeps anymore. If the zombies ever cross the yard i can zapem at 400 and then some. Its heavy enough to not beat you to death too.

These are not the CCI mini's or high velocity. They didn't have those in stock, these are the CCI standard velocity 40 grain lead round nose target rounds rated at 1,070 feet per second. I bought a box of 50 last fall for $5.00. The brick I just bought comes out to that same $5.00 a box. They had 2 bricks of Remington ELY target .22 LR left for $84.00 a brick.

If anybody is interested, I picked them up at Grice Gun Shop in Clearfield, PA.

I got around 3,000 rounds of 22s. Buddy of mine works at Remington. I am getting 22 mags for 10.95 per 50. 2 boxes per day limit. Getting 2 more tomorrow.

I like my .22 magnum. Stopped by Meijers in the way home. No .22 run fires at all LR or Magnums. Maybe 400 rds of all centerpiece rifle fodder combined. Same with shot shells combined. I got more in one mortar box, lol. No .410, 28, 16 or 10's. deer slugs and cheap promotional bird loads it looked like.
