Been feeling slow. I did made the morning hunt, no deer. Checked traps, no fur.
Then came home just in time to take my wife of 37 years to the ER!
It was a long day. More for her. She had pain and nausea, non stop. I could not take it. Took her to the ER.
8 hrs later, I feel they have it under control and came home. She is scheduled for her gall bladder to be removed in the A.M.

That does sound like a bad day. :--( I hope your wife's suregery goes flawlessly and her recovery is quick. Your trapping and hunting days can only get better and a sick loved one makes those details minor at best. Good luck to you!

Best wishes to the Wife and you Pipepusher. Those kind of surprises are rough on the nervous system! Please don't do any "gall" jokes until she is feeling much better.....such as "you have a lot of gall to need surgery right in the middle of hunting and trapping seasons"....nope, you want to stay away from those for now. :?

Well, the wife did not come home. Her gall is gone but they found 20 or 30 small stones in the tube. :( She is going back under tomorrow to have those cleaned out.

That stinks Pipe. My little woman had her GB out many years ago. It was a fairly easy procedure and she was up and about in no time. The only bad is that there are certain foods she can't eat. If she does it goes right on through her in a matter of an hour or so.

Pipe

glad to hear she's home

Waiting for a love one to be released from a hospital is tuff. My father in law went in on Nov. 2nd to have the upper part of his colon removed do to cancer. I guess they pulled out a orange sized mast. He was supposed to be home a few days later but do to complications he's still there  It's been real hard on the family especially Tammy. He is doing better now, seems something got all twisted up in there but he should be able to come home by the end of the week, hopefully. Waiting sucks.
