well sort of my home computer got fried so bumbed about that
any way haven't done a lot since Maverik was born
bought a F350 crew cab so that my new hunting truck
might try for some coons and fox this year but going to focus
on chukar and getting what is in the freezer out and mounted
for the wall

did get my first two Coyotes this past July . . . . they kinda ran out in front of my truck
I WAS DARK!!! and my head lights were covered in dirt from a 40 mile dirt road/wash so i figured them pups need to not go to waste so they are at the tannery as we speak.

Anyway just thought i'd let you all know i'm still alive and kickin

Hello Simpleyork, thought maybe you'd moved to Russia to catch the prime furs over there---welcome back and look forward to seeing some pics of the coyote hides when you get them back.

So now that I make it on here but once a year thought i'd update you
My wife is once again due this time on Feb. 7th 2013 (another boy) with number four.
I'm headed to school this January
Been doing a little bit of taxidermy. . . more for other taxidermist that don't like doing birds.
And getting the itch to do some trapping if I get the time( work tends to pick up in the fall)

As usual SY you are staying busy both at home and at work! I hope you work out getting back to getting more schooling. On the Job Training is a wonderful way to learn both the good and bad ways of doing things. Books are good but experience can be better.

Man, you all have your hands full (but probably wouldn't trade it for the world, eh??). Very nice looking mounts. All of them. Just one suggestion on the pheasant. I'd go with more of a tannish eggshell flat color and then I coat the paint after it dries with "pearl essence" that Van Dyke's sells. I think it looks a bit more like a live beak. Just my opinion. Have fun!!!
