I would try your trapping convention.I have bought off of ebay with mixed results.Nothing in local craiglist.Convention had all kinds of great #1-#3 coils for $4 each ----plus no shipping.I picked up a mixed dozen of #1.5vics & B&L coils,1.65 bridgers and 1.75 vic coils ---all very nice shape for $4 each at my convention. Also got 6 #1.5 vic jumps for rat floats also very nice for $3 each

Ski if your convention has the same prices as Milk's I'd try there. Ebay isnt too bad but if you try it read the descriptions carefully and watch the shipping and handling. Set a maximum price shipping and all and stick with it. Look for the number of traps your getting for sure too. There was an auction earlier this summer I almost messed up. Picture was of a dozen but you were only bidding on ONE trap. Ebay usually has better deals on bigger bundles of traps. Might ask Littlewolf what he has too?

I would suggest that everyone try their state convention at least once.I put it off for years since it was 100 miles away. But now I make time for it.Great used deals, demo's,no shipping or tax and if you take a supply catalog with you,you can then check prices.I bought Duke 1.5 coils new for $49/doz and modified #3 bridger coils for $16.50/ea from Kaatz's booth.Cannot beat those prices.

Milk, Kaatz brothers are good to deal with. If your into deer hunting that lure they make called "One Night stand" is awesome. Ive bought 3 bundles of their used no.11's this summer. The local chapters of Furtakers use to have great conventions and we rarely missed one. Advertising in your local free papers also may give you some leads.
