stainless steel barrel
Stainless steel tasco pronghorn 3x9-40 power scope

7mm-08 is a great cartridge. My kids have a youth model Remington in that caliber. It'll kill a deer easily.

Lone, I believe he has to take it to a FFL holder and ship it to a FFL holder that you can pick it up at. I don't know what the fees are for this besides the shipping.

Just check with the gun dealers and pawn shops in your area. The fees vary according to their greed.

I may be incorrect, but I've bought a lot of guns on line. If you buy a gun from a dealer, it definately has to be shipped it to a dealer, who will then do a check on the buyer. I'm lucky here because Penn Station Guns in New Philadelphia, Ohio does it for just $2. If two private citizens are making the deal, I would right down the serial number and do some kind of receipt and ship it directly. It would be no different than buying a gun at a gun show from a private individual.

I believe you are correct Roto. It only has to be shipped to a dealer if you are buying from a dealer ie: out of state. Private sales can be shipped direct. I am looking into becomming a ffl in Maine for the purpose of transfer only so when someone buys from out of state dealers (internet included) I can receive the firearm and do the background check for a fee.
