Tofu!?!?!?!?!   What the hell!?!!?! I liked the bobcat and muskrat really well, either Jase is an excellent cook or those meats are naturally great tasting or both! I know one thing, Jase is an excellent cook but when it comes to fox even he couldn't make that taste good!

I gotta say, I have never had the misfortune of trying tofu, it may be pretty good but there ain't no meat in it. I guess that defeats the purpose, who knows. I have had the pleasure of eating different meats this year than I had ever imagined eating: muskrat, bobcat, beaver (easy fellers  ) and have been pleasantly surprised with them all.

Ive ate alot of 'rats panfried, seem best parboiled in pepper water for 15 min or so,not rolling boil, just a simmer. Dont forget to cut out the kernels for any of ya new to them, just like squirrels. We trapped beaver just for the meat as our hides aint worth alot from here. Ive trapped since '74 and as I remember the top I ever got for a beav was $18? beav make great sausage and jerky too, either whole meat thin cut or burger out of a jerky gun/cannon. tried to cook a possum ONCE,lol, never again.
