Post subject:  BBQ'd Bear Backstraps

Cut backstraps into six or eight inch pieces and marinate for twentyfour hours in Italian dressing and black pepper. Grill, basting with fresh dressing a couple times durring cooking. Bear meat should be cooked thoroughly, but don't dry it out. Simple but tasty.

I tried your venison pot roast over the weekend. Good stuff ! I'd never used corn meal in gravy before. Thanks for the tip. :D
