Post subject:  caging rabbits

This is my first post here and would like to say HI to all.I've got a client that wants me to trap cottontail rabbits. This is in a area where shooting them isn't possible :( and the client doesn't want them shot.I've tried carrots, apples, red fox urine, ect. and so far nothing will get them into a box trap.Anyone have any "tips"for doing this? THANKS

This time of year food is readily available for rabbits so convincing them to go in a box for food is tough. I had a few eating out of my garden so I decided to box trap them. The bait I had the best luck with was grapes. Smear some on the base of the trap and throw the rest in the back. Hope this helps.

I tried the grapes for a few days and it didn't work for me.Now I'm trying a new ADC rabbit lure and bait and I'll let you guys know how it works out.
