Anyone else trapping the early season? Any luck yet? We've put out a few but no fox/coyote yet. Pulled my set's yesterday due to a combo of predicted rain and a change of work schedule that won't allow me to check them in a timely manner. Had a total of 10 sets out for 10 days. Caught 1 skunk, 1 coon, 1 cow. Only 2 sprung traps w/ no catch. Not sure if the set's were done incorrectly or if the critters just ain't out and about. Hope to reset on Thursday, waiting for cooler weather in hopes that it will help

Well I'm having a devil of a time. No canines yet but managed three coons and two skunks. I know I had a fox at a dirthole set last night 'cuz the darned thing left prints in the dirt but missed the pan.I've tried scent post w/ no luck. Dirt holes, flat sets. Commecial baits, hot dogs, fox urine. and pieces of woodchuck meat. Not discouraged yet just wondering why nothing K-9 related is visiting.Last year they at least gave me hope by digging and flipping ( Think I screwed up sometng when I waxed)
