The most deadly Coon set I ever used it has two coon stoppers first the shine off the can from the moon and other is the fish smell from sardines never had a coon pass by yet here the best place for it along rivers brooks and ponds anywhere water has coons walking the edge.
Now stand in water make hole in bank deep enough to hold the can yet have a 1/8 inch out show moon light shine on place trap in front and a little to one side cover you have two ways to get coon the shine and smell.
I always sprinkle a little water where I was to wash away any human scent stake trap good and your coon will be taking make set where you see tracks this set will also take mink skunk and any thing that eats fish.
Try it think you will like this set its easy to make and pays off well and the can of sardines will last a very long time I have taking 10 Northern Heavy Coon on one can in as many nights.
Good luck next season my brothers and sisters
