To all Trappers out here,
We all know Fox are smart and can do some things well I'm going to tell you a big secret most hunters and trappers don't know but I have, the first time I was 10 and with my Blackfoot grandfather on the line I had a fox take off with a trap and we track it up to a tree I walked around it no tracks just where it went to the tree confused I said grandfather it must had been taking by something he smiled and said come here see the tracks I said yes now look up very closely.
As I was standing there looking up looking back down at me was this nice gray fox I asked my grandfather how or who put it up there he said it climb up then told me a very large trick both red and gray fox can use and do the both can climb trees.
I know it sounds like this old trapper lost him mind but I tell you brothers and sisters it is a fact if you don't believe it place your email here and I will send you pictures of red and gray fox 20 to 60 ft in a tree this is not a joke I know this sound like BS but its not.
This my grandfather said many forgotten and most don't know so if you ever run into a track that stops at a tree look up you maybe very surprised at what looking back.
