i tried that all season and didnt get nothin but a few grinners. Any of yall got any ideas on how to trap or snare bobcats. The snares i used are 3/32 Is this to big for cats.

That is the size cable you want to use for bobcat snares. The best thing to do is find a trail, maybe where they are going under a fence or across a log. Bobcat like to walk creek banks so those are good places to look.

i caught mine in a large live trap in a little creek with tuna fish. i had holes poked in the can. it was just luck really but it was beside a field ive seen a few bobcats over the years. & of course their tracks.

never really heard of cats cage in cages. Creative...What size cage did you use? Or did you make your own?

it was prolly just luck i caught it but i bought a combo live trap set from tractor supply. it had a little live trap inside the big 1 when u buy it. i dont know the inches but i call it a coon trap & the smaller 1 a rabbit trap. i caught a 18lb coon in that rabbit trap. lol he was so fat in that little cage it had me laughing. they r the cheaper traps to i think. i had truoble with the animals taking the bait out & not setting it off. so i started digging a hole for the bait & setting the trap over it & staking it all down. it prolly had alot to do with the freezing.
i took picturs with my phone of it in the trap but done deleted it. i got a picture of him on 1 of these tn forums though just not in the trap.
