Well, we have gotten another snow here. last week was ok, not too good, the beaver are getting fewer, and trap shy. Johnnie ran the line and picked up 2 more, with one being a 69.8 pounder in a snare. Several have moved to the other lake as we have seen them there, and will try to set on them Friday night. Hope everyone is doing good.

Sounds like a nice beaver. Do you have any pics? I have been doing decent on the beaver trapping here. I've caught 4 out of one area in the last 2 weeks, the biggest was 61 lbs and the others were in the 15-30 lb. range. I have not been able to set as many traps as I would like because of all the snow though.

We are working on pics. We pulled everything, to give them a break. Got to move to some new water, but got sick and did not get to set this weekend. I hope to get some traps in this week, to use on them. Oh, and from the last sale, looks like it has gone up on some furs up your way. If the K9 prices keep going up, I will make a skinning machine this summer. I have pulled my last time on them, since arthur moved on in and good in my hands.

Oh, if you see any bigger traps someone wants to get rid of, pm me, sure could use them.
