only 19 days till season! i cant wait. i had to curve the urge by diggin a dirt hole in the yard and a pocket set in the back ditch to knock some of the rust off. nothin like a little practice to get ya back in the swing. and it cools off the fever a bit too.

i got quite a bit of permission and lots of gamelands. i went to an auction and picked up 2 dozen good strong #1 longsprings, dozen and a half 1.5 coils, and a dozen more 110s. i finally got enough steel to cover it all lol

The one tract I have a permit for is 7,463 acres. Cost me $10 for the permit. The only roads in there are old loggin roads that are gated. Also has a stream with a good population of Native Brookies. Tons of coon and beaver. Also one of the only places around with a decent population of rats.
