I'm here and new to this site. I'm in S/W ohio 32 miles north of Cincinnati.
Been trapping for a while, off and on. First started trapping in school(1955), Now it's just for fun. I like rats, coons, and yotes. Yotes are more fun with a .243. Haven't replaced any equipment in 25 years. Even tho I have lost some traps over the years. Most stolen by the well meaning do gooders. I am the Ol'dawg.............Later..................

Hello,
I'm trapping Northeast Ohio near Canton. I just collected my 59th coon this morning. I'm having a pretty good year and coon prices ar up. It looks like tonight will be another good night with a forcasted low of 35 degrees. I'm waiting on the water to freeze so I can concentrate on beaver, but our winter has been very mild thus far. I'm not complaining, it's been great for coon. Hopefully I'll hit 100 coon before Jan. 31.

I'm southeast of columbus.
Sounds like I'm pretty close to the same area as moparmanpete.
Looks like some good ground to trap down your way. Always looking when the wife and I drive down through there.

Brand new to the forum... I am in Southeastern Ohio. Guernsey and Noble counties is where I do all my trapping. I run a canine line as well as water line. Looking forward to sharing some experiences and learning.

Welcome to WAT Dave057, come on over to the Camp Fire and Trap Line threads and let everyone meet you and let us know what you are interested in and what you'll be trapping for in the upcoming season. Not too many folks look at the state postings.
