Location: W. Central Wisc. Jackson cty.
2 of my colleagues from work have filled ther bear tags and are offering me all the fat from the skins and meat. Are there any uses for it?

well the old timers used it to cookwith,oil their flintlocks etc. only oil they had...old timer in Wyoming said made the best cooking oil for bear sign[doughnuts] render it out and let me know. may even make a good base for a trapping lure,never tried it for that tho.

I use it to waterproof canvas and boots.

It's great for keeping the wood stocks nice, but don't get it on any blued spots.

Fantastic for coon bait. Mix with a little vanilla, smeer on a cotton ball, drop in a soup can under your cage traps.
