Well, I'm feelin a little better about my sets. I put out 3 snares
for beavers & got a hit the next day on 1. been puttin dive sticks
out with not much luck had 3 dive sets on 1/2 mi. of creek for about
3weeks kept finding them tripped or full of trash/beaverlunchleftovers
that clogged it or tripped it then finally got a 40lb'er oh BTWthe snared dude was 46lb, I've been setting #3's with bait till the h2o froze never caught anything just tripped traps most weren't moved, finally yesterday
I found where one of those wise flattails swam up to the dam where I have a dive set & promtly got out & walked around, put a #4 coil where he entered the water no drownder h2o's only 16" deep at most. guess
who was patiently waiting for me this morning. nother35lber.
