hello all,
i am new to the forum and new to trapping in general, i have read and learned as much as i can over the last couple months on trapping, and will setting my first sets this week. i will be starting off with bucket sets for coons.

my question is, can i catch skunks in the same bucket set used for coons, or do i need to do something different to target them. what bait could i use to target skunks.

thanks

Find some super-cheap canned cat food.

Be sure before setting them to be aware of any free-roaming domestics. Bodygrip traps aren't as near "forgiving" as foothold traps, and it the trapper that catches the flack for irresponsible pet-owners.

And welcome to the site

look for prints you see prints then target that area. skunks eat lots of things. I have mostly caught them in blind sets. along creek banks out of the water.
