most any of the animals that have been skinned, I saw where a man was dumping his and the first things to go were the muskrats, then beaver mink and coon were untouched for many days but they left too. deer works well, chicken . If it is legal and you can catch a ferral cat alive make a good solid cage as to not hurt the cat and you will have them comming too. most states there are no rules about this I do believe. in minnesota you can use artificial lights as of jan 1 hope the deer poachers don't abuse this rule.

You should beable to get them to give up there location if you use certain calls , a coyote call or an owl. there are others that make them yip and howl too.

sorry I was mostly thinking of hunting them but those are good baits urine does work well from what I here and totally location. fence line open areas where two fence lines intersect they eat much the same as fox but also take the bigger game as they do pack hunt.

A good way to hunt them is to get when of them cat toys that roll around, like them weasel balls that rolls around when you turn the swith on, get a little lure, just a lil, and maybe a call and that will lure in them suckers, i read on this previously about some one doing that. sounds like it would work but we dont have much coyotes around here so i never tried it, so im gonna just stick with the ol' whitetails
