I just started trapping this year and bought some 220's to use for coon, but I don't have the dimensions to build the cubby boxes. I want to stay away from buckets because trap theft is high in my area. If somebody out there has the measurements for making boxes I would really appreciate it, along with any other tips or tricks- thanks

hey cooner I am not sure on an excact measurement but as long as it is slightly larger than your trap and as long as a bucket you would be fine. Also there was a thread on here not long ago about taking a peace of chicken wire 3 ft by 3 ft laying flat cover it with leaves and putting another peace on top of it.You then wire those together and roll up to make a tunnel.I would put wire at 1 end and you have a perfct camo theft proof bucket set.

I use 160's but I just take a 5 gallon bucket and use it. I just fill in the gaps with some plywood.

I make my notches 1.5 to 2 inches deep.
