 Post subject: dang technology...PICS

i have tried like heck to post pics, but when i click on Img, it just says img and nothing asks me where to gwt the pic from. Also, I can not just paste it or "drop" it in, can yall tell me how to do it?

Use a image hosting site such as www.photobucket.com After you register you can upload images and after you upload them you have three choices in URL's. Choose the last one and just copy and past and post.

Ty-Bo is right. First you have to upload your pictures to a free hosting site such as Imagestation or Photobucket. When you have them on there, copy the URL where the picture is located. Lots of times you can move your cursor over the top of the picture, right-click, Click "Properties" and copy and paste the address.

When you are creating a message here and you click the "Img" tag you will see this-- [img]

You need to insert your image's address (URL) after the "[img]"%20text%20and%20then%20follow%20it%20with%20"[/img]".

Here's an example-- [ img ]http://www.wild-about-trapping.com/images/photos/trapperkd_beavers_2000_01.jpg[ /img ] (There can't be any spaces within the brackets, I left them there so you can see what I am trying to explain).

This is what that should look like--

It's really not as complicated as it sounds. :shock:
