how do you trap once the creek freezes over?? Asking mainly about muskrats

If the creek is not to deep and the ice is clear, you can see the runs the rats are traveling. You should also be able to see their air bubbles under the ice or going up under the shore. Set 110's in these runs. Also as stated earlier, place traps where you have some open water. They gotta breathe. Bait sets along the creek bank, baited with apple, potatoe, watermelon rhine, celery will take the too.
