 Post subject: coon spots

what are the spots to look for in coon trapping, all i know is that you want a big old gnarly tree somewhere in the woods and i got one just today by an old oak tree but what spots do you guys look for in coons.

put water and food together and the coon will be there, forget about the old tree and start looking at river edges, corn feild edges. old stream beds. be on the look out for coon tracks that will tell ya where you need to be. old silos and so on . corn and water are my best bets for numbers of coon i find corn feilds next to river system and they are loaded up
