Wanted to say Hi, and am looking forward to learning as much as I can from you guys/gals! I've hunted deer and turkeys for many years and recently decided to get into the trapping scene. I trapped coons many years ago back in high school using live traps. Had alot of fun doing it and decided it's time to get back at it. I've been reading a lot, googling a lot, and picking a buddies brain to learn as much as I can. Ironically I just figured out there are a couple guys here that are from my hometown of Holton, KS, and figured out one of those guys is the buddy I've been pickin' the brain of. (danuge). This kid knows his stuff and has a true passion for deer, turkey, and trapping!
Decided I needed to get into a trapping forum to help gain even more knowledge, so I hope you guys don't mind if I bombard you with questions :D

Welcome to the Forum redrider....you have arrived at a mecca of trapping information. I am also a newbie here at ths site. My experience thus far is read the Archives and see if any of my questions could be answered there, go back and read all the discussions from the beginning of the Forum and then put your questions out. I am impressed with so many trappers/hunters/fishermen and their willingness to help each other. There are also some excellent women trappers on this site that will be reading your entires and can help with advice. This Forum, as you will see, is a very helpful site. Again, welcome to the Forum.
