I was wondering if anyone had an idea for making some swivels? Also anyother homemade gear that would come in handy. I am just trying to save a little money and am looking for some projects to keep me occupied.

wouldnt be the best but would work. u could take a bug washer bend it in a vice grip. drill to holes on each end and attach j-hooks and wahla u gotta swivel. :D

making swivels kinda sucks i just buy them,lol but if you can weld you can some real tuff ones out of a peice of chain link and a large nut for the swivel and a bent oversized nail with the point cut of for the rivet
