So who is nailing coon on what lure? Bait?
Only have a dozen 1 1/2 coils out, running dirt holes and trails only waiting to see how they are priming up. Using my salmon eggs mixed with wildplums mushed into a nasty mess. Have taken 5 so far. Avg wgt. approx 20-25 lbs. Have not skinned a 1 yet. been throwing them into the freezer.
Oh yeah, no grinners yet. lol. All bets are off.

I cought a 20 pounder on pizza. The fur was getting good but with the lows in the 40's and the highs in the upper 80's I think it will take some time for the coons down here in the south to get a better pelt.

I USE HAWBAKERS HARD CORE COON LURE, AND BIG 3. IN MY MIND THE SECRET LURE IS MARSHMALLOWS. IT GRABS THEIR ATTENTION THE THE SITE. I ALSO THROW IN A PIECE OF FISH WITH THE MIX. I HAVE HAD 15 TRAPS OUT FOR A WEEK NOW, AND HAVE HOOKED UP WITH 12 COONS SO FAR.
