any ways i bought a few dozen new duke traps(3's) so far i was pretty impressed on how much they had changed these traps they set well and did all they were supposed to do... except i got a round to adjusting my tension when i stripped out one bolt,so i moved on to the next and the next one none of them would set right it would seem the brass bolt and nut that is in them should have a longer bolt and a washer put in the middle of them the ones that are in them are to short to fully adjust right.so now with a month to go i am in need of buying new bolts and washers for them(just as soon as i can find them) so buyer beware if you buy them get some new bolts and washers for them,other than that they are a good trap they just have a carppy bolt in them

Usually, I take all the bolts off my traps when I buy them new anyway, and replace them with the longer brass bolts, with a washer to help with tension. I started doing that when the new Victors I purchased stripped and I wasn't able to get good tension.

lil' bit what kinda bolts and washers do i need?i have no idea what size these things are but i need to get them longer bolts and washers,thanks lil bit for the info i was kinda freaking out a bit

The part number is 71603. It's the longer bolt and nut that fit all the different trap sizes, all the way up past #3's and all the way down to #1's. Then, with them, also purchase the brass pan washers. They're like 6 bucks for a hundred. That takes the wiggliness out of the pan.
