This past weekend, there was a fur sale run by the Pennsylvania Trappers Association District 7 (Eastern PA) and they posted the results. I'm seeing slight improvements on Grey Fox, Mink and Muskrat but Raccoon and Beaver still looking rough.

Not good at all for trappers selling to independent buyers. Just had Fha sale on beaver and I had two top notch beaver number one grade top of list for $42.00 US. Add on the exchange rate and im good. Muskrat was a no sell.

One positive for the market next year is reports of significantly less fur being caught due to the weather. With any luck, that will increase prices some.

Bad thing is , if there is not enough fur at auction we could lose some buyers. Raccoon is not the fur there looking for at this point.
