Hey guys never trapped around a bait pile and need some suggestions. Farmer is butchering turkeys
Saturday and will dump scraps anywhere I want. Everything has to
be covered up in Pennsylvania but how close
should I set and what type of sets ?

Thanks all.

If you have enuf of a pile, put it in some thicker brush/trees. Let the critters start feeding and set their trails coming in. I try to snare in these situations. The critters will show you where. Don't set very close, 30-50ft plus back from the pile. That will prevent non targets and association with the pile as dangerous.
