Well before we can help you, we should know a little more in where you are trapping. River, pond or lake or ditch. This all comes into play and some times different methods need to be used. Until you explain your circumstances its hard to relate to your problem. Are you using footholds or body grips?

I'm trapping a ditch with dams and runs all up and down it. I have both Mb750 and 330s.

Blind sets with H stands would be a logical choice if you have a straight ditch line. Might depend on how deep the water is though, too deep they will go over the top. Another great set the duck under. Hang a 330 by the springs from a branch that spans the channel, rub some castor on the duck under stick to get them diving and swimming around to find the castor. Place the castor directly above the center of the trap.

any castor mound sets? I learned that sometimes you gotta put 2 different castor based lures on them.makes them think 2 different beaver are competing for their territory.

To follow up on CC's idea....if you get a beaver, squeeze out some of its castor on that mound. The other ones will recognize it.

Sounds great boys, I was walking the ditch and I found where they would push off on the bottom, swim over a flat spot then dive again. Double 330?

Coonceazy, if you set that duck under with 330 it's almost criminal what you can do to the rats;)
