I know I've seen this before on here, but how much sodium benzoate do you guys put in your lures to preserve them ? Thanks.

Does anyone add it to water and then soak the bait meat in the water or is it always used dry?

Actually I do Swamp. I mix it with warm water before adding to bait. It diperses more evenly and has better penatration into the meat, perserving a little quicker. I also use methal paraben to help keep the mold and bacteria at bay. Learnd this method from Bob Jameson (Jameson ultra blend lures).
