Went out the other night, and saw some eyes in the yard. Went over to investigate because I thought it was one of our cats. Only when I got literally five feet away from it did I realize what it was. I have never seen anything like this before.

Irony never ceases to amaze me. Just yesterday, forum member "Mohawk" came by to visit me. He told of how on a deer hunt, he and his girl seen a pure white opossum near their ground blind. He tried to nab it by hand, but it got away by making it to a brush pile before he could get it.

Awesome take Nebraska! I personally have not ever gotten my hands on such a critter.

Actually prettier than the common color!! I'd either tan it myself or get it tanned. Few and far between!

It was only after I had skinned it that one of my friends sent a text saying I should get it mounted. Then I started kicking myself because that would be one heck of a conversation piece, and just strange enough to be up my alley.

That is the coolest possum ever! I'd get that one tanned.

Very unique, I have seen two, once this season that a friend caught and one many years ago that a trapper friend caught. I would have it tanned.
