Yeah, we have a lot of coyote, obviously a couple of fox, and some cats. We have had so little cold weather I don't know whether to try and trap now, or wait and see if we get some winter to put a little more fur on them?.?.

Their fur won't sell or at least the ones I have at NAFA are still there. They do make nice wall hangers once tanned. Good luck on your trapping, I sure like the photo.

Catch a bunch of that fur and surprise mama with a beautiful garment of some kind? Idk, just trying to give you a good excuse to nab the furs. Them cats are awesome. Just not a good sale year unfortunately.

Shannon had some action, I guess this lil guy wanted the smell of Bobcat urine on his neck. The trap is on the other side of the stick.

I had this guy waiting on me, and had I believe my first ever pull out with a MB-650

Great photos wannab. Nice catch on the coyote. What do you think "pulled out" of the 650?

Thanks Swamp, it was a 39lb male. Not sure what pulled out, it might have been a raccoon based on the size of the catch circle. There were a few hairs stuck on the trap, but we could not tell what kind, and because of the ground cover we were not able to find an identifiable track.

Today's catch was a no catch  We had one deer pull out, one rabbit pull out, (I bet he is glad I use offset jaws), and the Gray fox destroyed 3 sets. Maybe tomorrow.

Great job on the catch Mark! I hate them 650's for that very reason and a few more.(imo of course)Mine found a new home.

Forgot to mention, that dog is pretty for a Texas dog. 8) Looks like it actually has fur in the pic and not just hair. Maybe migrated from farther north. :P

Thanks Richard, we were surprised to see how much fur it had on it also considering how warm it has been here.

Thanks Wolf. We are just driving back and forth, not sure if we will get to do any camping this year.

Had a lil bit of luck last night, caught two male coons, one weighed 13.13lbs and the other weighed 14.7lbs. Also caught a small female bobcat, she wasn't any bigger than a house cat, turned her loose unharmed. The dang gray fox keep digging our sets up before the coyote n cats can get in them.

Caught another male yote last night, weighed 34.12lbs. He had real nice colored fur and coat but had some mange on his tail.
