Post subject:  Nick's Mid Missouri Trapping Season 2015-2016

Well after a long first semester of college I'm finally about to start trapping for the first time this season. The plan is to go almost exclusively for yotes and cats due impart to predicted prices and downward shift in the fur market. The MB's are all waxed up and ready. I'm going to hit the quarry first to target the cat that's been seen hanging around near last year's catch location. Then I'll branch out to try to nab as many yotes as possible on my family's property. All this will be done in my month of winter break. When I get some steel in the ground I'll post back with more of an update. Hope you all are doing well.
Nick

I got four coyote sets in Friday afternoon. I'm hoping the magical third check pays off tomorrow. I'll throw in some pics to keep you all somewhat entertained.

That's actually dry dirt that I keep in a 55 gallon barrel. I dig out a fairly sizable hole around the trap so the moisture won't soak through the dry dirt all the way to the trap. It usually works well until it rains, but it takes a lot of dirt.
