Anyone have any dealings with USA Fox and Fur? My wife wants a beaver coat, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on their quality/customer service. Also, if anyone recommends another company I would appreciate the information also. Thanks.

I think that is who Amak and Cat Man used to have their otter caps done. I have an otter skin up there now being made into mittens....I hope they are good.

I wanted to make sure that you fellas know that I've seen USA Fox and Furs work and it is my opinion that they do quality work. I have an old Army buddy out in Kingman, Arizona, that has sent a bunch of critters up there to get tanned and also had a coyote coat and hat made for his wife, and it was all top notch stuff.

Indeed. We have 2 very high quality otter hats we hade made. I mean they dont get any better. We had them make One Russian and one Trooper. Russ recently (last fall) had mittens made out of a coyote we'd caught. Excellant mittens. That boys hands NEVER stay warm and are always like iceburgs out trapping. Even when he thinks they are warm i can feel them and they are still cool. With his new mittens, his hands outside this year trapping in 0 degrees with hard wind....his hands actually were toasty warm when i felt them. He let me wear em on one walk in to check cat traps. Was below zero actual temps with 20 mph wind....i never even felt the slightest inclination of coolness or anything other then warmth. Zero coolness. I was amazed. Now I want some!

USA fox and fur done excellant jobs on our hats and mittens. Those items are well loved if you couldnt tell!

Thanks, that really puts me at ease, she wants her beaver coat really bad, and I would hate having it being a disappointment. I am really looking forward to seeing a coat made from the fur I caught.
