Well today I had to go out and set up those 6 marten boxes that I set last year. Also I put in one otter set and set up one beaver house. Reason I did so was that in 3 weeks we have 70 high school students coming to our workshop. Was a total surprise as to that many. We do not have enough fur for the kids to skin plus supply us with enough fur the next day for our trappers workshop and dinner. All I can say is that I hope the big guy is smiling on me. No pics as my camera was stolen last week at another function. Wish me luck boys as I'm gonna need it.

A Little luck never hurts wolf.....but i guess i never have thought you ever needed it! I wont say its not gonna be work cause we both know it will be, but i have complete confidence in you getting done what you need done. I think you are among some of the hardest working trappers around. Get that mentality of yours and go make it happen. :D

Your camera was stolen or lost like someone else did? I hope you make some catches for the kids.

Takes some practice that's for sure. Tomorrow will check another beaver house. Have 2 runs set and one suspended 330 baited. Did you get your package yet?

Another beaver today. 3 more should be enough to make things work. Seen a cow moose with it's calf

I think we have enough now but will touch base with you to confirm numbers in a few days. Great haul and did you get some fishing in while you were on the line. I'm going tomorrow to pull my 6 boxes and one cat set. Going to be a bit nipply tomorrow, -40 but it's all truck work.

Finally one marten. The lynx came to my set and walked around but did not go in. Again no snares with me to set up. Everything is still set and will do another check on Wed. The otter were sure moving though. Anyway another one for the kids to skin. And it did not hit the minus 40. just -34 but with the wind I guess it got there.
