I brain tan my coyote and fox hides can I also do this for coons?

I dont see why not. The Native Americans of old said that every animal has enough brains to tan its own hide. They did bison so id think a coon would be a breeze compared.

The native Americans didn't get the experience of walking down some of the streets of this city I live by I would tend to disagree with them 8|

PK i agree very much with that statement. I dont brain tan but when tanning coons its imperative to remove all fat and grease from the skin and fur. If you dont mind that tedious work then thered be no reason you couldnt brain tan a coon.
