Here are a couple more of our catches, two pretty nice coyotes. Shannon caught one and I caught the other.

Nice yoders!! I see some frost on the ground, that's good for you all

What county are you trapping or if that's too specific what region of TX; the piney woods, blackland prairies, the section in between (post-oak, clay pan woods), the cross-timbers??

Yes, we had a very heavy frost that morning. We own a little bit of land in the very SW corner of Marion county in NE Texas

LOL Wolf, we set 6 on her side, and 3 on my side, then 4 behind my office. She did not take to kindly me beating her when we had the competition; now she says we are just setting them together...lol

Caught one female yote and a dog today. The dog surprised me, not a house within a mile of the place. He had a collar, and was as sweet as could be. I released him and he was more interested in being petted and loved on than anything. I had to lead him down the trail to send him on his merry way.

No luck today, had a gray fox dig up an entire set except for the trap pan, and had one tripped but empty. I kinda think it was a deer.

Add more sets with a variety of lures baits and set ups.

1. Are both cats in similar situations? I cant tell what the second pic area is like.

2. Is the first pic, on a used roadway or just a cleared path with little human traffic?

Amak, I deleted the daylight pix, but this is a trail through the woods. Shannon caught two cats about 10 feet behind this cat, so I know they are using it regularly. The first pix is a dry pond dam, the pond does not have any water in it, but we have a lot of pix of cat, gray fox, and coyote, and have not caught a dang thing in this area, mystifies me!!!

Is this the same pond dam Shannon was talking about earlier in another thread by chance?

I just found the thread. Page 2, "Need some advice please".

What have you tried there Mark?
