Nice :--) !! That reddie looks pretty pale. Typical for your part of MT?? Western SD reddies can be pretty pale as well. Never know what kind of k-9 is going to show up out in your area, do ya ....

This is probably the lightest fox I have caught. That is the second fox I have caught in that set. Its actually a Yote set, hence the #3. The farmer has never seen a fox out there before so he is somewhat surprised. Amazing the animals that are right under peoples noses. I have a friend who takes a lot more K9s than I do. He usually takes some beautiful cross fox. But I have yet to connect with one of them in this area.

Great looking fox. By the size of the whole he dug he would have been a good tater digger. First time I ever seen a red dig such a big hole. Kudos

Believe it or not, there used to be a mound about 8" high there. It was the backing for my set. You cant see it because I am standing on the ice to take the photo. But there is an irrigation ditch, the dirt was from the farmer digging it out. There is also another irrigation ditch to the right. The meet a fee feet away. Hence my choice of that spot.
This is my first time really playing with earth anchors. Pretty happy so far.

I got to thinking today. This is a Yote set. That is the second fox I have caught in it. But the fox is worth more than the yote, so hey, I will take it lol.
