Very nice Rick!!! Your magical fisher set scores again. You deserve that beauty :) Now, if you could catch a fisher while in season....

Will this be one of the best Christmas days yet? Check those traps and see if you have that fisher. We are all hoping you catch one.

Well, no fisher this year. Bobcat season is still in for a couple of more weeks along with mink and muskrat. Beaver season just started Friday and will not end until March 31st. Coyote, fox, coon, weasel, skunk and possum is still in until the end of February. Lots of options yet!

Greg Kohl, the NAFA guy for southern and central PA, made his rounds today. I dropped off my only catch of the season, the red fox I caught. I met him in Reels Corners, PA today which was his 10th stop of the day and his truck was dang near empty. He told me very few people dropping off fur, he wasn't sure if trappers were storing their fur and waiting for higher prices or they just weren't trapping.

Congrats on the fox Rick. Maybe next year on the fisher!?! If you have luck like mine youd catch it in a cage trap for possum on the 26th lol.. Hope your Christmas was great anyhow! I agree with PK, i may run a smaller downsized line with lower fur prices but we only get so many seasons while we are here...

I caught my first muskrat of the season in a bottom edge set. Too bad the season ends tomorrow.

I decided to pull the rest of the sets since tomorrow is the last day. This is what happens when the water level drops and ice up begins on the bottom edge sets.
