So sorry to hear about the passing of your father in law Richard.

Nice looking female coyote you caught. Skunks are great to look at, just not smell. Our skunk breeding season usually begins from mid to late February depending on the night-time temperatures. Our coon, skunks and possums are all hibernating for now since our temperatures haven't been above 17 degrees for the past couple of weeks.

Richard sorry to hear about your family loss.

Can you describe how you set your flat sets up, and possibly show a few pix.

No problem. Will do it tomorrow evening. Will be putting some in tomorrow and will take pics of them and I will locate in crap bucket some more pics. I use the mafia and its variations most of the time though as I explained in your thread. I am going to put in some mafia's in tomorrow useing 2 traps since time is running out soon, because of fur quality. Will get pics of it. Will just start another thread for them.

My condolences Richard. I've been there with 3 out of 4 parents. One of those forks in the road of life that a person doesn't want to go down but most likely will. Still, that knowledge doesn't make it an easy one. I know you all are of a strong Christian faith so lean on that and find comfort there during the hard hours and days.

Sorry to hear about Melissa's dad, Prayers are with you all.

I hate trapping skunks! Not so much the smell, but the only ones I trap tend to be weak in the stripes, however the road killed ones that really get splattered are almost always packing big white stripes!

Got this nice female today. Notice how high that bridger grabbed ahold. It engulfed that foot like quick sand. I would say she was fully committed. Mafia set scores again. 8) Both pics are the same dog.

No rubs yet that I have come by. Usually I do by now. Yotes are still ok so far. With the days getting longer now they have to be on the down hill side for sure. Last year I got a triple on the yotes with snares right at season end on furbearers and all 3 were to bad to skin. That was a bummer.

Thanks Wolf! Been getting a little slower though, been on the same pack all winter. Just got my atv back, so maybe I will have some time to set up on some new property that I have not got to trap yet. With out the bike It would be impossible to set it.

I kind of know were your coming from with that comment. Most of my trapping is done far from roads that are accessible for trucks. ATV work is 60%.

Got a big boar a couple day ago. Would have been bery nice except for the big rub. You can see it in the pick on back of neck. Female yote waiting for me today in a Mafia. Fur still looking purty good so far. Check traps in the morning and then off to set a new property.
