Our season here in Mississippi opened the 1st of November. Most of the animals still have a ways to go before they are prime so I'm often reminded. I started an ADC job almost two weeks ago that hasn't netted but two coyotes, a couple coons, one fox, and a couple o grinners. I attended the MTA trapper college over the weekend and got alot of helpful information. I'm so fortunate to live in a state that has such liberal trapping laws and a great group of veteran trappers willing to share information.

In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.” Acts 10:10-13

Good to see you back around duckhuntalot. Your southern season is like ours over west of you in TX, we all know November is TOO EARLY to be trying to take prime hides, but some folks will start regardless. No need to even start until late December around these parts. Good luck when you do start taking those hides.
